ABOUT HIM MEDITATION

Hello and welcome to the HIM Meditation platform. My name is Sam Breslauer and I'm a Christian man, who was reborn by the Holy Spirit about 8 years ago during a meditative experience. I began writing at that time and was led by God's will to explore the intersection between the mysteries of consciousness, science and the Christian Faith. After countless hours researching and contemplating, I managed to publish 10 academic papers in 3 different peer-reviewed journals. These papers have culminated in a cosmological model I formulated called the Holy Infinite Memory Model of Consciousness, based on principles of St Thomas Aquinas' work that place God, as the Father Son and Holy Spirit, as the source of infinite pure self-knowing consciousness beyond creation, who is the uncreated cause of the universe. One of the aspects that makes this theory original is that God is understood as the infinite mind that is constructed by nothing but the memory of Himself and it is this 'pure act' of being conscious of oneself that 'fills up' eternity, without beginning or end. Alongside this academic writing journey, I have also been developing my own meditation practice based on the learning acquired through my research. As a result, I have written a book called book called 'Holy Infinite Memory (HIM) Meditation: Revealing Your True Worth and Identity Through the Remembrance of the Holy Spirit Within'. HIM meditation is based on the presupposition that God’s Holy Spirit is the internal source of your infinite worth who knows, with perfect knowledge, who you truly are. His presence can be directly communed with when our attention settles on the present moment, which is exactly what HIM meditation trains us to do. Essentially, this practice deepens one’s personal relationship with the Lord through the remembrance of His silent ever-present love found within our inner-life. This website is a great place to find supportive material such as the HIM Blog with associated vlogs, guided meditations and links to my academic works.
